BELT is coming back to NYC for one unforgettable night - and we’re diving straight into the heart of RENT.
If you grew up obsessing over cast recordings, dreaming of found family, or scream-singing “La Vie Bohème” in your bedroom, this is your moment. Join a room full of people who love musical theatre exactly as much as you do — all led by our special guest host ZACH SCHIFFMAN.
What the night looks like:
🎤 A full sing-through of RENT - start to finish - with our star host Zach guiding the chaos.
🌟 Open sign-ups: take the mic solo, grab a friend, or hop in as a group. (Spoiler: the whole bar will be singing with you.)
🍸 Drinks flowing + maximum communal belting energy.
💃 Dress-up welcomed! Whether you're feeling your inner Mimi, Collins, Maureen, or “theatre kid with a dream,” we’re here for it.

Wicked Karaoke Night
After selling out two wild, magical nights in Toronto, we knew we had to bring the BELT energy to NYC - and we are SO EXCITED to announce our very first Wicked Karaoke Night in New York City is officially happening!!!
This night is for your inner theatre kid - the one who spent hours scream-singing show tunes into a hairbrush and dreaming of a place where everyone gets it. Now’s your chance to belt your heart out with a room full of fellow Wicked lovers.
Here’s what to expect:
🎤 We’ll be singing the entire score of Wicked - Act One and Act Two
🌟 You can sign up to sing your favorite song - solo, with a friend, or with a group but expect the full room to belt along with you
🍸 Full bar sing-along energy
💃 Costumes encouraged (no pressure - come as Elphaba, Glinda, or yourself!)

Join us for round two of our storytelling night, where we celebrate everything chaotic, gritty, and magical about this city: ghosts, bad dates, and all.

We had such a blast last March hearing everyone’s stories about why New York feels like home, from dreamers, doers, and wanderers who came here from all over the world. This time, we’re back with a scary edition because even the city we love most can give us a little scare (hehe).
Tell us why you love New York… but why it sometimes scares you too. We all have that one story, the strange subway moment, the chaotic night out, or that dating story so bad it was actually terrifying.
